Conserve environment to have a better life, a deacon and two seminarians from the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio told citizens.
 
The two seminarians and a deacon made the statement when they were planting fruit trees in Radio Anisa compound to demonstrate commitments toenvironmental conservation.
 
Deacon Tombe Charles said the reasons why people should plant trees is because of their importance to human beings and other living things.
 
Seminarian Emmanuel Mborimbuko Arkangelo encouraged everyone in Gbudwe State and South Sudan at large to plant trees to reduce global warming and desertification.
 
Meanwhile Seminarian Birandukuho Emmanuel Gbata discouraged some people’s concept that trees take long time to produce.
 
The deacon and the seminarians urge the government of Gbudwe to provide seedlings to the citizens of multi-purpose trees so that the state looks green and attractive.
 
The trees they planted for their remembrance include jack fruit, umbrella tree and avocado fruit trees at Radio Anisa ompound.
