Justice and Peace Commission of the Catholic Diocese of Wau in collaboration with SPLA Division Five are training SPLA officers on conflict management and the rule of law.
The three-day workshop aims to empower the army with South Sudan Transitional Constitution, SPLA Act 2012, SPLA Resolution and Code of Conduct, Natalina Andrea, Justice and Peace Coordinator told Radio Voice of Hope on Wednesday.
She says they want to see positive change within the South Sudan army.
Lieutenant Colonel Awan Deng Amom, said they want to transform the army of South Sudan into professional one by changing their attitudes about the nation.
It is the army to protect the sovereignty of the nation and the constitution, he stressed.
The three-day workshop that started on Wednesday concluded on Friday.
