Residents of Ikpiro Boma in Yambio County on Sunday discussed ways of restoring peace in the area.
The meeting was to create a platform between the government and the citizens, says Francis Philemon, focal person of Foundation for Democracy and Accountable Governance Organization, Radio Anisa reported.
Moses Adengba, one of the youth, says they face problems of cattle destroying crops and theft among others.
He regrets that high prices in the market force them to sell their produce at higher prices so as to cope up with the economic crisis.
Gbudwe State Education Minister, Pia Philip, encourages the inhabitants of Ikpiro to organize their representatives to channel their issues to concerned authorities.
Most of the residents who spoke during the meeting raised their concerns to the government to deploy police to secure the area.
Foundation for Democracy and Accountable Governance Organization organized the meeting.
