Rumbek National Secondary School is likely to close down after finishing midterm exams at the end of August due to lack of money to pay part time teachers.
Head master Shadrack Chol Dongrin told Radio Good News on Monday that the administration has informed the Ministry of Higher Education in Juba that the school will run out of money.
He said only ten teachers are being paid from Juba, but many are part timers.
Dongrin disclosed that he ask permission to close down the school after the exams, revealing that it will not be functioning in next few weeks.
Rumbek National Secondary School experiences difficulties in paying 25 per time teachers who are not paid by the states or national Ministries of Education.
