A visiting delegate of the Salesians of Don Bosco in South Sudan and Sudan urges Christians to pray in order to reach God in heaven.
Fr Joseph Paullical on Sunday preached that ‘we live a life which is not perfect, as Christians we should ask ourselves whether we shall reach God’, Radio Don Bosco reported.
The priest mentions that God punishes people sometimes not because He hates them, but to remember Him.
Fr Paullical tells the faithful that it is not easy to reach heaven unless people learn how to pray and love everyone.
For the situation of South Sudan, let us learn how to look for God, he says.
The delegate was preaching at Sacred Heart Parish Tonj of the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek.
