The minister of Agriculture and Forestry in Yei River State says the government has more than six hundred thousand feddans of crops not harvested due to insecurity.
Huda Micah Laila says the ready crops are not reaped because people stay in fear of uncertainty, Radio Easter reports.
The Minister says the government is working hard to improve security in the state for the safety of citizens, protection of their property and that of the aid agencies.
The minister was speaking during the launching of humanitarian appeal in Yei on Friday.
