Kagelu Forestry Training Institute has relocated to Yei town due to rising insecurity in the area.

The management relocated temporarily to the town after it recorded several theft acts in its compounds by armed men.

Martin Tobiolo, Institute’s Principal, says the robbers looted the compound.

The Principal says their finance office was also broken into two days ago and the tools and other items for the Institute were looted.

He says they have reported the incident to the state authorities.

State Governor David Lokonga Moses, earlier said his government would provide security to citizens, humanitarian agencies and their property.

The Institute was expected to reopen on August 1, but suspended its activities to September 5 this year.
