Gunmen attack a convoy of top government officials along Yei-Morobo road, leaving two people dead and two others injured.
The incident happened on Saturday in Jombu Boma of Mugwo Payam in Yei River County, Radio Easter reported.
The delegation was returning from Koboko, Uganda after celebrating the International Youth Day on Friday.
Yei River State Minister of Information, Stephen Lado Onesimo, says the injured people are receiving medication.
The minister calls on the gunmen to purse dialogue to amicably resolve their grievances.
He urges citizens to remain calm as the government continues to improve security for both lives and properties.
He was speaking to the press on Sunday.
