Oxfam says it has reached more than twenty thousand residents in Juba as it continues to fight the ongoing cholera outbreak.

The aid agency is repairing boreholes and distributing soaps, buckets and water treatment tablets.

Oxfam Acting Country Director, Rama Anthony, says they will double efforts to reach more residents in the coming weeks to prevent the spread of the disease.

Earlier this year, the agency repaired and drilled boreholes around Juba.

It is improving access to clean water for more than five thousand residents and giving public hygiene messaging.
