5 people escaped from armed group and 2 others killed on Torit-Juba road

Police authorities in Torit confirms that five passengers who went missing on Wednesday following the attacked by unknown gunmen on Torit-Juba road reached the town.
 
Colonel Caesar Oromo, Torit Police Inspector, says the five passengers were taken hostage, but they managed to escape from their arresters, Radio Emmanuel reports.
 
In related news, Colonel Oromo said unknown gunmen attacked three commercial vehicles at Kagwda) Khor Dileb, killing two passengers on spot.
 
He says the armed group raided everything in the cars including dozens of cows being taken to Juba for sale.
 
Public transports were interrupted in Torit with many passengers stranded at Torit bus station.
 
Oromo says police are working hard to provide security for all passengers on Torit-Juba road.
