Catholic Priest of Saints Peter and Paul Parish in the Nuba Mountains said Sunday readings were reminding all faithful to realize the wealth of this world is meaningless and they should embark on spiritual things.

Fr Deogratius Minja told Christians to have relationship with God and avoid too much desire for worldly things and greed, Radio Voice of Peace reported.

The priest added that people should share their wealth with those who are less fortunate and think of word of God.

Fr Minja clarified that even the poorest person can have heart of sharing and seeking first heavenly things.

He told the Christians that ‘we are just care takers of all our possessions in this earth one day we shall be called to meet God leaving all our wealth’.
