The Director-General in the Ministry of Health in Terekeka says the state has no new recorded cases of cholera.

Emmanuel Fredrick Loku told Radio Bakhita that there were eleven cases of watery diarrhoea and one confirmed with cholera.

He notes that out of the eleven earlier suspected cases, five died.

Fredrick says the health authorities are ready to respond to any case.

Last month, UNICEF said the country has recorded 72 suspected cases of cholera in Juba, Bor and Terekeka.
