Ezo County of Gbudwe State has run shortage of medicines for over two thousand HIV/AIDS patients.
One of the clinical officers in the county tells Radio Anisa that due to insecurity, 2,879 patients are not receiving their anti-retrovirus drugs for almost a month now.
He confirms that the situation is worsening and led to loss of four women recently in Ezo County.
The officer says they have informed the County Commissioner and the State Ministry of Health about the situation and are waiting for their respond.
He warns that if the situation continues like that, many people are going to die within short time.
One of the victims, Joseph Peter, expresses sadness over lack of drugs, doubting where their lives will end.
He urges the government and health partners to act as soon as possible to save the lives of the innocent people in the area.
Anisa Radio could not reach officials from the State Ministry of Health for comment.
