Tonj State government resolved that the county headquarters will shift seven miles away from the town during the dry season, says Mayor.
Joseph Anei Madoor said the county will temporarily work in the state capital, Radio Don Bosco reports.
The Mayor explains that the Ministry of Local Government is charged to allocate duties and responsibilities and how a commissioner could work with a mayor in the same town.
Madoor mentions that his appointment as a mayor was after his long service to people of the former Warrap State.
The Mayor adds that they cannot collide with the county authorities because they are serving the same people.
The official made the comments on Friday.
