The Commissioner of Akop says security and unity are the first priorities in his county administration.
Addressing Akop community in Tonj town, Maluil Makuek, vows to cooperate with the neighbouring commissioners to restore peace in the area, Radio Don Bosco reported.
He promises to reopen the schools that were closed down earlier this year due to lack of teachers.
Commissioner Makuek requests the state government to assist him with network to ease communication.
Tonj State Governor Akec Tong Aleu instructs commissioners to return the looted cattle, arrest all criminals and drag them to Tonj Central Prison to work in the farms.
The leaders were speaking during the welcoming ceremony organized by Akop members residing in Tonj.
