The International Office for Migration or IOM is setting up oral rehydration stations in Juba as part of its response to suspected cholera infections.
The IOM in a statement on Wednesday says it is working together with the humanitarian agency, Medair, in setting up the camps.
IOM health program manager, Kelsi Kriitmaa says they are intensifying training of health and hygiene promoters to spread basic messaging on best practices such as hand washing and drinking safe water.
The official says good hygiene is important in controlling the spread of cholera.
IOM says one suspected case was identified at its primary health care centre at Tomping on Saturday.
It says the case tested positive and is undergoing culture confirmation and the patient was transferred to the Juba Teaching Hospital.
UNICEF reported 72 suspected cases of cholera, including the 11 people who have already died of the disease in Juba and some cases in Bor and Terekeka.
