Nineteen County Commissioners on Monday were sworn into office before Tonj State Governor.
Governor Akec Tong Aleu tasks the commissioners to make peace and reconciliation a top priority in their various counties, Radio Don Bosco reports.
He explains that the number of Payams will not exceed four in a county for the economic situation to improve in the state.
Governor Tong instructed commissioners not to talk about the border issue because the President of the Republic will directly form a border committee.
Deputy Governor Manhiem Bol told the new commissioners that South Sudan needs people to work harder to realize development.
He told the citizens to help the new commissioners to bring lasting peace among communities of Tonj State.
Bol encourages the commissioners to respect the opinion of the people they are leading and be faithful to their work.
The two top leaders made the remarks during the swearing in ceremony of 19 commissioners of Tonj State on Monday.
