Zalan Football Club on Saturday evening won football Association City Council Super Cup against Ghazal United in Rumbek Freedom Square.
The match ended five goals to one, Radio Good News reported.
Zalan scored two goals in the first half of the competition and scored another three goals in the second half.
The cup aim at involving community in games activities and development of sports facilities like playgrounds among others.
Lakes State Football Association Secretary-General Isaac Meen Mathiec appreciated all players for peaceful participation.
He urged the players to be peace ambassadors as they play together in the pitch.

Football Association City Council Super Cup is the latest introduced competition by Local football governing body in conjunction with Rumbek Central County Council.
South Sudan Cup and Premier League champions will compete and the winner dance away with 50 thousand Pounds and the loser takes 30,000 pounds.
