The Governor of Yei River State tells the organized forces to return to barracks as part of the implementation of the ceasefire President Salva Kiir ordered last week.
David Lokonga Moses warns at Yei airstrip on Saturday morning that tough measures would be taken against any soldier harassing civilians, Radio Easter reports.
He also asks citizens who fled their residences in the town to return home.
Governor Lokonga urges gunmen in the bush to return home and avoid further bloodshed.
He vows to pursue anybody attacking the organized forces or civilians in any place in the state.
Governor’s comments followed continuous reports of insecurity in the state.
