The State Minister of Education Mary Apai Ayigga strongly orders schools in Yei to open or face administrative measures.
The order comes after the schools in the town were closed on Monday for suspicion of an outbreak of fighting in the town, Radio Easter reports.
She says they are touring the schools to inspect their performances.
The Minister warns that any school that will not open by Friday will face administrative action because there is no reason of closing the schools.
Minister Apay made the call on Wednesday in a press briefing on the security situation in Yei River State.
