Sacred Heart Parish Priest in Tonj of Rumbek Catholic Diocese has discouraged the culture of revenge among communities in South Sudan.

Fr Raphael Lee in his homily on Sunday urges people to be agents of peace in any society, Radio Don Bosco reports.

He calls on young Christians to show good examples to their parents at home and respect their elders.

Fr Lee advises citizens to work for the common good of their people.

He appeals to communities to pray for peace to prevail in South Sudan.

Fr Lee also asks Christians to repent from their sins and reconcile with God.
