Unknown gunmen on Friday attacked a vehicle belonging to Eden Transport Company, killing one person and kidnapping two others on Juba-Yei road.
Yei State Information Minister Stephen Lado Onesimo told Radio Easter that the attack occurred at River Kwedek.
He discloses that the vehicle was carrying 13 people and property of the passengers including money, telephone and computers were looted.
He says that the state government strongly condemns the attack and promises that the security organs will be patrolling to ensure safe movement of vehicles.
Minister Lodu says the government will investigate the attackers and bring them to book.
