The cabinet has adjourned the deliberation on the National Budget for 2016 and 2017 until further notice due to incomplete preparation.
Government Spokesperson, Michael Makuei Lueth says the Minister of Finance has been tasked to complete the necessary preparation of the National Budget as soon as possible since it is behind schedule.
The National Budget for 2016 and 2017 should have been put into use from the July 1st.
The budget shall go through approval of the cabinet and the National Legislature yet to be established under the August 2015 peace agreement.
