Three-day peace conference of the communities of Rumbek under the theme: ‘Accept peace, make it and sustain it’, concluded on Wednesday with 30 resolutions.
Western Lakes State Deputy Speaker Chol Kutwel read out the recommendations including deployment of security forces to border areas and around hotspots in the state, Radio Good News reports.
The forum also urged the authorities to address issues of land disputes in competent courts of law.
The conference also resolved bringing to justice, spiritual leaders who mislead youth into cattle raiding.
Imposing death penalty was also among the resolutions read out in Rumbek Freedom Square.
