The Headmaster of Rumbek National Secondary School on Wednesday denied transfer of teachers, describing it ‘as baseless rumours’.
Chol Dongrin said he did not receive any transfer letter from national government, Radio Good News reported.
He said any government official appointed to hold a public position is transferred through the same procedure.
The Headmaster warned people against spreading rumours that could damage his reputation.
Dongrin also refuted claims of mistreatment of students in the school.
Last week, many students in Rumbek National Secondary School complained of being tortured and arrested in the latrine by security personnel deployed at school premises.
