The Administrator Lumon Payam of Ummdurein County in Nuba Mountains promises to end hunger by opening up large scale farming.
Yagoub Jibril Abdallah Makki on Tuesday told Radio Voice of Peace that the idea of farming was a long plan by the regional authorities since last year.
He describes hunger as the worse enemy that should be tackled through consolidated efforts and action.
Abdallah encourages other Payams authorities to follow the example of Lumon to open up farms.
The Administrator urges people to embrace agricultural activities to fight hunger in the Nuba Mountains region.
