Women who clean public places in Tonj town complain that they are not being respected for their work.
The women say they sacrifice themselves to keep cleanliness, but face disrespect when they approach shops and sitting places in town, Radio Don Bosco reports.
Mama Athieu says they are not happy with the way people dump rubbish near shops and on roads.
The town cleaners request the municipal authorities to make public awareness about sanitation.
Radio Don Bosco could not reach some members of the public accused of scorning the town council workers for comments.
