The Internally Displaced Persons from Nyepo Payam of Kajo-Keji County have started returning home as relative peace gains ground.
Kajo-Keji County Commissioner, Julius Lokonga and other officials last Friday visited the returnees, Radio Easter reports.
Commissioner Lokonga says more forces have been deployed to keep law and order in the area.
Kajo-Keji County Press Secretary, Derick Derickson says the displaced people are in bad humanitarian situation, experiencing lack of food, blankets and drugs.
He says most of the displaced lost their belongings as looting and burglary intensified in the area.
Early this month, clashes between SPLA forces and an armed group in Kansuk Boma led to the displacement of over eight thousand residents.
