MP re-echoes calls for justice over Sister Veronika’s murder

A Member of Parliament in the National Legislative Assembly representing Yei River County has re-echoed the call for the suspected killers of Sister Veronika Rackova to face the law for their conduct.
 
MP Paul Yoane Bonju remarks that the killing of Sister Veronika during her humanitarian duty was very unfortunate, Radio Easter reports.
 
He says administering proper justice will prevent similar occurrence in future.
 
He describes those who committed the act as ‘the enemies of the nation’.
 
MP Yoane expresses the condolences of the national legislature to the Catholic Church for the loss of a committed missionary.
 
Sister Veronika died of gunshot wounds.
 
She was serving as Medical Director at St Bakhita Health Centre in Yei when she met her tragic death.
 
The government says the three suspects behind the murder of Sister Veronika are still being investigated.
