Priesthood is a call to preach God’s salvation and offer spiritual services to people, says Vicar General for Clergy and Religious of Tombura/Yambio Catholic Diocese.

Fr Thomas Bagbiowia reveals that priests are called from within the community to serve by celebrating daily masses for their own sins and others, Radio Anisa reports.

Priests are obliged to teach and give advises to people to know God as their creator and obey his commands, he stresses.

Fr Bagbiowia discloses that priests and religious sisters and brothers are working freely to serve and make people to repent and confess their sins.

He regrets that some family members refused their sons and daughters to join the Church’s life, because they expect their children to work in the future to get more money.
