The Secretary of Agriculture and Food Security in the Nuba Mountains calls on people to work hard in farms to cope up with the economic crisis in the region.

Farm Advisor and Seeds Distribution Manager Abdulgadir Abdullah Sabon says they have plantations in more than six counties, Radio Voice of Peace reports.

He recalls that there was good crops production last year.

Abdullah mentions political situation as a major challenge facing their work.

He cites lack of transport to reach far places as another difficulty.
