Savannah High School demonstrate over lack of teaching

Students of Savannah Secondary School in Rumbek Town staged a peaceful demonstration due to lack of teaching since the beginning of the second term earlier this month.
 
Students’ representative complains of failure of lesson delivery since they resumed the term, Radio Good News reports.
 
A female student in the school says they have not been taught any subject since the term began.
 
Another student angrily says people turn against others if they want to correct any situation.
 
Savannah High School head teacher, Lueth Michael Abijok, says he did not dismiss any teacher from the school since he started.
 
He appeals to the students to attend classes as school board of directors tries to resolve the matter.
 
School Director, Daniel Kuol Ayuilo, tells students that the management is not happy and will investigate the issue.
 
Teacher, Kuch Abyei, urges students to be patient as they compete for quality education.
