The UN Mission in South Sudan says it will continue to support internally displaced persons who are voluntarily returning to their homes.
UNMISS spokesperson Arianne Quentier says the support include regular patrols and provision of basic humanitarian services to the returnees, Radio Bakhita reports.
On Monday, the UN confirms that over 25 thousand IDPs have voluntarily left the protection of civilian sites in two months after South Sudan formed a transitional government.
More than 150 thousand IDPs still live in UN camps in six sites across the country.
