The priests of the Catholic Diocese of Torit have started five-day annual retreat on Tuesday at St Matthew’s Parish in Ikwoto area.
Torit Apostolic Administrator, Monsignor Thomas Oliha, says the retreat is an ongoing formation for the priests to evaluate their strength and weakness for adjustment of performance, Radio Emmanuel reports.
Monsignor Oliha urges priests to take the retreat seriously for the renewal of their mission.
He says priests should take prayers as the heart of effective evangelization as it is a link with Jesus Christ.
A Comboni Missionary from St Paul’s National Major Seminary in Juba, Fr Vido Oliana is directing the five-day retreat in the Diocese of Torit.
