Civil society organizations enlightened women and young people in Yei on the peace agreement signed in August 2015.
The organizations include CEFORD, IPCS, CDISS and Voice for Change with support from USAID through Democracy international.
Women and youth urge the Transitional Government of National Unity to bring real peace and stability to the country.
They criticize that insecurity cases pose fear and they are unhappy to see their children being killed on highway attacks.
The participants thank the organizations for educating them on the peace agreement and call for more training.
Gift Moses, a facilitator, who also works for Centre for Democracy in South Sudan, appreciates women participation and understanding about the peace process.
Meanwhile, the participants recommend translation of the signed peace agreement into local languages for citizens to read and understand it.
