Union urges young people in Torit to fight hunger

National Youth Union representative calls on young people to fight the looming hunger by embarking on agriculture and other economic activities.

He was speaking to over five hundred young people in conference, under the theme: ‘Peace, unity and development’ in Torit town of Imotong State.
 
The conference aims to enlighten the youth on their roles on peace building in the state.
 
Mayor of Torit Eddy William urges the young people to stay in peace.
 
He encourages them to cooperate with the government.
 
Imotong State Governor Nartisio Loluke Manir in his opening remarks, urges the participants to forget the past and embank on development.
 
He pledges to empower youth politically, socially and economically.
 
The conference attracted youth from all counties of Imotong State.
