Ngaluku laid to final rest in Nuba Mountains

One of the prominent leaders of Nuba Mountains, Ramadan Ngaluku, who died in Nairobi, Kenya, was laid to his final rest in Gidel, Heiban County of Nuba Mountains over the weekend.
 
The late Ngaluku died on May 18 after fighting cancer for a long time, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
 
Fr Charles Anikia told mourners that the death of good people is a joy in Heaven.
 
He says while presiding over a requiem mass at Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church .
 
He discloses that the late Ngaluku served the church greatly and made many people to believe in Jesus Christ in Nuba Mountains.
 
The late Ramadan Ngaluku survived by two wives and seven children, three boys and four girls.
 
The late started his primary school in Kauda and went Kadugli for secondary education.
 
He went to work in Khartoum in a zinc manufacturing industry.
 
The late Ngaluku returned to South Kordofan and founded choir groups and was an active youth leader in the church.
 
The late joined the SPLM/A in 1989 and proceeded with the liberation struggle until he died at the rank of Brigadier General.
