The students and youth from the Catholic Diocese of Tombura/Yambio launched a group dedicated to Samuel in Kampala, Uganda.

Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala says the group will help the young people and students to be like Samuel in the Bible who listened to God’s call by focusing on their studies, Radio Anisa reports.

He stresses the need for the church and national leaders to be close to the youth to give them hope to be good managers in the future.

Diocesan Youth Chaplain Fr Gamboripai William Abbassi, who attended the launch in Uganda, describes the occasion as wonderful and important.

De Samuel fraternity was attended by youth from all corners of South Sudan, Fr Gamboripai adds.

He says De Samuel Fraternity is unique in its constitution which has a mission of love and holiness to enable the young people to be God fearing people.
