Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission, JMEC Chairperson regrets the detention of the Joint Monitoring and Verification Team leader in Torit, by local authorities.
Festus Mogae also regrets blocking of the same team by local authorities in Yambio.
He says he is aware of the challenges citizens still face in Western Bar El Ghazal and Equatoria regions.
Mogae calls on the government to abide by the provision of the agreement that calls for access and freedom of movement.
He also calls for cooperation in the implementation of the peace agreement.
