Community Organization for Peer Educators or COPE on Thursday trained teachers on peace agreement dissemination to pass the right information to learners.

Giving the right information to people about the agreement is the powerful tool for the peaceful co-existence among communities, Felix Phillip, COPE Acting Director told participants.

He calls upon the teachers to first know the source of information before presenting out to the students and communities, Radio Anisa reports.

One of the facilitators, Benjamin Ibako says, it is very important to train teachers because they are dealing with students who are coming from different communities.

A participant, Martin Samuel, a teacher from Nabaguu Primary School, says he now knows some of the things he never knew before.

Both primary and secondary school teachers attended the training at Civic Engagement Centre in Yambio.
