Tonj Civil Hospital has received new vaccines for polio immunization from the National Ministry of Health.

Tonj South County Health officer Machar Marol says the Ministry has changed the old vaccines with bivalent oral polio vaccine, Radio Don Bosco reports.

He advises mothers to take their children for vaccination to nearby clinics to avoid diseases.

The officer argues all health facilities to give new vaccine as ordered by the Health Ministry.

Last month, the national Ministry of Health launched new vaccine for polio immunization countrywide.
