The thieves suspected to have disappeared with more than eight hundred cows in Ndrudu Administrative area of Heiban County are reported to be hiding in mountains’ caves.
Jamri Ali Abdallah, a citizen from the area, said the thieves stole the cattle while returning from the pastures in the evening, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
He added that some 19 cows were looted last Monday in the same area.
Mr Ali advised the youth to take care of their cows as they are important for the livelihood of people in the Nuba Mountains.
