The Deputy Speaker of Western Lakes State Parliament urges authorities to maintain selling of fuel in the stations only to avoid black market traders along roadsides of Rumbek town.

Chol Kuotwel notes that selling fuel in the black markets has resulted to high prices, Radio Good News reports.

Some other things need to be reviewed by the Ministry of Finance, Chol adds.

The Deputy Speaker points out that the economic development of the country depends on how its people generate and manage resources.

Finance Minister, Daniel Gumwell Nhom Abur, says no money was sent to the account of the government since he came to the ministry.

The officials made the remarks on Monday during the passing of Rumbek Market fact-findings report and recommendations.
