Kajo-Keji County mourns Sister Veronica and Colonel Kure

Kajo-Keji County is mourning the tragic death of St Bakhita Medical Doctor in Nairobi, Kenya on Friday.
 
Sister Veronica Rackova died following injuries inflicted by bullets fired by suspected SPLA soldiers on May 16, Radio Easter reports.
 
The county is also mourning Colonel Moses Kure, one of the freedom fighters of South Sudan last Thursday, says Kajo-Keji Commissioner Julius Lokonga.
 
Kure was working in South Sudan’s as military attach√© embassy in Abuja, Nigeria, he adds.
 
He says ‘it is very regrettable and painful to loss people like these during this critical time’.
 
The Commissioner notes that the contribution of the two late leaders was ‘very great’ in the history of the liberation struggle until the independence of South Sudan.
 
Commissioner Lokonga talked to Radio Easter on Sunday.
