The Deputy Governor of Yei River State expressed deep disappointment over the death of Sister Veronica Rackova.
Abraham Wani Yoane said the entire government and the people of the State were left with grief on sister’s death, Radio Easter reports.
He added that sister Veronica had delivered her services to the people of South Sudan without discrimination.
Deputy Governor Wani stressed that the Sister helped the people of South Sudan.
Meanwhile, State Health Minister Kogo Manasseh Levi, sent condolences to the Catholic Church and the government of Slovakia on the loss of Sister Veronica.
The government officials were speaking to mourners at Christ the King Cathedral on Saturday.
