United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS urges national authorities to protect the victims of human rights abuses to minimize stigma.
 
UNMISS Director for Human Rights, Eugene Nindorera, says they have assist a number of victims, Radio Emmanuel reports.
 
He suggests transferring sufferers from their localities in case the environment poses threats to their lives.
 
Eugene adds that inadequate freedom of expression caused difficulties to protect victims of abuses.
 
He calls for an environment where people feel free to attend court proceedings and express their views.
 
The official was talking to Journalists during a press briefing on Wednesday in Torit.
