Amadi Legislative Assembly Speaker calls on the government to embrace unity and deliver services to the citizens in the state and South Sudan at large.
Margret Fozia Emmanuel says the executive members and the legislators agreed to prioritize security and food in the state, Radio Anisa reported.
She thanks the Church for taking lead in the healing and reconciliation processes in Amadi State.
Relative peace has come to Amadi State, she commended.
The Catholic Radio Network (CRN) is a media project constituted by community-based radio stations broadcasting in Frequency Modulation from Juba, Yei, Torit, Yambio, Rumbek, Tonj, Wau, and Malakal. CRN has also a station in the Nuba Mountains. All the stations share the same vision and mission, and are bound by common editorial and administrative policies. All stations broadcast shared programs in English: news, civic education, and other educational programs. Due to the heterogeneous realities of South Sudan, each station is rooted in its locality and broadcasts locally produced culture-sensitive programs in the languages which are understood by the local people. For its outreach, CRN has a potential audience of about seven million people, considering the influx of returnees to South Sudan after the Sudan Population Census 2008.
