Security Chiefs to testify in corruption case involving 16 Presidential Aides

The high court has approved that the national security chiefs testify as witness for the two presidential aides accused of theft.

Radio Bakhita quoted the defense lawyer as saying, Major General Akol Kor Kuc shall testify as witness to the accused John Agau.

Meanwhile Thomas Douth Guet will testify as witness for the accused Kur Ayuen.

The security chiefs’ are expected in court on Thursday says Kur’s lawyer, Reech Ring Bol.

Meanwhile, the court has ordered the national security service to grant the accused access to their lawyers and one family member.

Advocate Ring says the visit will help the accused provide details of their witnesses.

Sixteen officials are facing trial in the High Court for allegedly stealing millions of US Dollars and South Sudanese Pounds from the Office of the President.
