Random shooting by SPLA injure nine citizens in Wau

At least nine citizens of different ages sustained wounds after random shooting by SPLA soldiers on Monday morning in Wau.
 
Teenager Robert Daniel says he sustained gunshot on his head when he was still on bed in Darajat residential area, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
 
Suzan Stephen 42, from el Salaam residential area, also got serious injury on the right leg at around 7:00 AM.
 
A doctor says she might need operation.
 
Medical Director, Edmond Sebit, tells Radio Voice of Hope that three people sustained dangerous injuries which need surgical operation.
 
He said the rest were discharged.
 
Lieutenant Mangong Anyijong for Division Five recalled that all organized forces were instructed not to shoot guns, but was surprise to hear the gun sounds on Monday morning.
 
Anyijong apologizes to all wounded and their families, wishing them quick recovery.
 
SPLA Day is celebrated every year on May 16.
