Democracy International in partnership with Civic Engagement Centre trained teachers on peace dissemination in Yambio, Gbudue State.
The Organization’s officer, Felix Phillip Danambutiyo, says the one-day workshop was to inform citizens on effects of war in the society, Radio Anisa reported.
The training is important because through teachers, peace can reach the communities and children easier.
One of the participants, Sizindi Justin called on South Sudanese leaders to work for a common goal prioritizing the interest of the citizens.
It is important for citizens to acquaint themselves to the peace agreement document and support leaders in its implementation, stressed Mbage Wilson Ismail, the workshop facilitator.
